Chad is an accomplished professional based in Perth with a willingness to travel. Chad has held roles in tax, finance, investment banking and mining with postings in Australia, the UK, Indonesia, China and Mongolia. During his 17-year career with Rio Tinto Chad established the emerging markets global procurement function, was Chief Financial Officer at Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia and led the project delivery and Government enabling activities functions for the Simandou project in Guinea. As a facilitator, Chad brings strong cross-cultural experience and a focus on both individual learning and team building to achieve lasting results.

Experience

Chad has negotiated successful outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders in over 40 countries across 6 continents.  This includes inter-bank settlement arrangements, two $10 billion+ investment agreements, joint venture agreements, $1 billion+ supply agreements, community agreements, enterprise bargaining agreements and capacity building agreements with international financial institutions.
