Maximising Your Return on Time

We understand that you are busy, caught between the eternal dilemma of balancing urgency and importance. You have a limited amount of time to invest in yourself – here are some thoughts on why an ENS program is the best investment you can make in your future.

  • Why should I invest my limited learning time in negotiation and influencing? These are arguably the ‘hardest of the soft skills’ and apply in business and in life. Influencing and negotiation are at the heart of leadership, sales, procurement, project management, stakeholder management – almost any business activity you can think of. And if we consider that negotiation occurs any time one person tries to influence another, then these are skills that apply in every aspect of our lives.
  • What is distinctive about ENS? The ENS model is a comprehensive, practical approach to negotiation that has been used successfully around the world by companies both large and small. Rather than just table tactics, ENS provides a systematic method to help you prepare for and manage any influencing situation. Our experienced, specialist negotiation consultants make the training highly interactive and fun, focusing on your real-world concerns. Our Gap Learning Period is unique, allowing you to implement your learnings from the first stage and build on them in the second.
  • What can I expect? Prior to the program, participants are sent a Program Focus Questionnaire (PFQ), which allows the facilitator to customise the course to meet your training needs. Negotiation and Influencing Profiles (NIP) are also completed, to help you get a clearer picture of your negotiating strengths and weaknesses. These are examined during the program, and along with the hands-on practical experience of role-plays, give you immediate insight into how to make the most of your influencing opportunities. After the program, you will receive a series of post-workshop emails which help you continue to learn and develop your capabilites.
  • How will this be a good use of my time? Participants of ENS programs are asked to bring along a real-world negotiation that is currently being prepared for. Workshopping this situation helps participants apply their learnings as soon as they return to work and see benefits immediately. In-house programs help build a common approach to negotiation within the team, making you a more powerful, effective force.
  • What will be different after the course? As soon as you return to work after an ENS program, you will see situations from new perspectives: you will know which questions to ask; opportunities will become more apparent; you will know how to control the process and understand what to do next.
  • How will this help me to achieve my goals? With this new perspective, you’ll not only see your goals more clearly, but also how to reach them. In addition to achieving your outcomes, you’ll be able to more effectively manage your relationships and ensure as profitable interaction as possible.
